How settlement works
What this candidate enforces, and what it does not.
- One transaction. The buyer’s payment and the token delivery are in the same Monero transaction. Each wallet signs only its own inputs, and every signature covers the whole transaction.
- Anchored lots. A lot can only be spent by a transaction that also spends one specific Monero output. A competing spend of the lot is then a Monero double spend, so the sale cannot also be paid.
- Finality. A lot can be listed and bought once its own transaction has — confirmations. A reorganisation deeper than that is outside what this design protects against.
- Cancelling. Withdrawing a listing is enough until you approve a sale. After that, only cancelling the lot in your wallet (a Monero transaction) revokes it.
- Not reviewed. The construction is experimental and has had no independent security review. Trade small amounts.
