Move XMR20 with any Monero wallet
Tokens can sit at a plain Monero address in Feather, Cake Wallet or any other wallet. To move them, you sign a message in that wallet and pay a small network fee in XMR. A signature spends nothing and reveals no key. You never paste a seed or a key here.
1Your address
2Send
Any Monero address. Your XMR20 Wallet's address works too: the tokens then land in its normal balance.
3Sign it in your wallet
- Tools → Sign/verify message.
- Paste the message into Message.
- In Address, keep the address shown after “from” (type your subaddress if the tokens are there).
- Click Sign and copy the signature (it starts with SigV2).
- Settings → Other → Sign / Verify.
- On Sign Message, paste the message.
- Choose the address shown after “from”.
- Sign, then tap the Signature to copy it.
- Use your wallet's “sign message” feature with the address shown after “from”.
- Sign with the spend key (the default). A view-key signature cannot move tokens.
- Copy the signature (it starts with SigV2).
4Pay the network fee
Send exactly this from your wallet. Your move is put on the Monero chain once the payment has 1 confirmation (usually a few minutes).
A one-time address for this move only. A payment that arrives too late, or for a move that can no longer go through, is kept as credit for your next move from this address.
Moved
Good to know
- The relay that puts your move on chain cannot change it or take your tokens: your signature fixes the exact move. It only carries it and pays the Monero fee, which your payment covers.
- Tokens at a Monero address are Open: the address and its balance are public on the XMR20 ledger. Keep tokens on a separate subaddress if you prefer.
- Feather says it is not connected? Set a node in Feather → Settings → Network → Node, then restart Feather.
